Chocolate Coconut Pear Cake | Schoko-Kokos-Birnen-Torte

Another day, another cake! This time it was for a vegan potluck. Last time it was vanilla, so this time I wanted a chocolate cake. Then I looked into the cupboard to find things I that I wanted to use up, which was coconut creamer, and chocolate mousse powder. And since I love fruit, I added some pears as well 🙂 which gave this lovely chocolate cake and coconut cream torte a nice fruity touch. Creamy. Dreamy.

Chocolate Coconut Cream Cake with Pears

Chocolate cake

  • recipe by Sarahbakesgf – baked in a round 20cm springform pan. Cut into 3 layers.

Coconut whipped cream

  • Vantastic Foods Tom Soya Instant coconut creamer
  • some Schlagfix unsweetened cream
  • Mix both until the coconut creamer powder has dissolved, then whip until fluffy.

Chocolate cream with coconut milk

  • Vegide chocolate mousse powder
  • coconut milk
  • Schlagfix unsweetened cream
  • dark chocolate, melted
  • leftover white chocolate spread (Schakalode)
  • leftover chocolate coconut cream (Veganz)

Combine chocolate mousse powder with coconut milk and unsweetened cream, then whip until fluffy. Then I used up some leftover ingredients, in this case melted dark chocolate to taste, white chocolate spread and chocolate coconut cream.

Pears

  • about 1 jar of canned pears, drained and sliced

Preparation:

Bake cake, let cool completely, then cut into 3 layers. Then layer chocolate cake, coconut cream, pear slices | chocolate cake, coconut cream, chocolate cream, pear slices | chocolate cake. Use the rest of the chocolate coconut cream to decorate the cake with piped roses and pear slices.

Ein neuer Tag, ein neuer Kuchen! Und zwar für ein veganes Potluck. Der letzte Kuchen hatte einen Vanilleboden, also wollte ich diesmal Schoko. Und ich dachte, Kokos passt da gut dazu. Obst musste natürlich auch mit rein, also entschied ich mich für Birnen 🙂 und so enstand ein wundervoller Schokokuchen mit Kokossahne, Schokomousse und Birnen. So cremig. Einfach traumhaft.

Schoko-Kokos-Sahnetorte mit Birnen

Schokoboden

  • Rezept von Sarahbakesgf – gebacken in einer runden 20cm Springform, und in 3 Schichten geteilt.

Kokos-Sahne

  • Vantastic Foods Tom Soya Instant Kokosdrink-Pulver
  • etwas Schlagfix ungesüßte Sahne
  • etwas stehengelassen, damit das Pulver sich löst, dann aufgeschlagen

Schokosahne mit Kokosmilch

  • Vegide Schoko-Mousse Pulver
  • angerührt mit Kokosmilch und Schlagfix Sahne, dann aufgeschlagen
  • dunkle Schokolade, geschmolzen
  • Rest weißer Schokoaufstrich (Schakalode)
  • Rest Schoko-Kokos-Creme (Veganz)

Birnen

  • ca. 1 Dose Birnen, in Scheiben geschnitten

Herstellung:

Boden gebacken, abkühlen lassen. In 3 Schichten geteilt. Kokossahne und Schokocreme herstellen, dann schichten:

  1. Boden, Kokossahne, Birne
  2. Boden, Kokossahne, Schokocreme, Birne
  3. Schokoboden, Außendeko Schokocreme-Rosen und Birnenscheiben
