Lovely lavender syrup. Really easy, really yummy🙂

Lavender syrup

  • 200g sugar
  • 150 ml water
  • lavender (stems, flowers, leaves) – I used roughly two hands full

Put sugar and water into a pot and heat until the sugar is dissolved. Take pot from the heat, put in the lavender and let stand for a day. Then strain it, pour into bottles. We had it on strawberries – delicious🙂

Also, tip of the day, a great vegan baking book: The 100 Best Vegan Baking Recipes (by Kris Holechek). Everything I made so far has been delicious! Below: banana bread. Firm on the outside, soft in the middle, and look at the crumbs! Such beauty^^

Lavendelsirup

  • 200g Zucker
  • 150 ml Wasser
  • Lavendel (Stiel, Blüten, Blätter) – Menge ca. 2 Handvoll

Erhitze Zucker und Wasser in einem Topf, bis der Zucker gelöst ist. Nimm den Topf vom Herd, gebe den Lavendel hinzu, und lass es für einen Tag stehen. Dann gieße es durch ein Sieb,  und fülle es in Flaschen. Wir hatten den Lavendelsirup mit Erdbeeren – lecker🙂

Tip des Tages, ein tolles veganes Backbuch: Die 100 besten veganen Backrezepte (von Kris Holechek). Alles, was ich bis jetzt daraus gebacken habe, war lecker! Hier: Bananenkuchen. Fest außen, weich innen, und schaut euch die Krümel an! So eine Schönheit^^
